Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that last week marked the biggest event in China’s import calendar – the CIIE. The week-long expo saw thousands of companies from 64 countries showcasing their products and services to Shanghai, trying to get their foot in the door in the world’s most lucrative market.
JWDK attended CIIE in support of IMX, a cross-border trading platform that aims to bring premium quality niche products to the growing middle-class in China. Approaching the CIIE, JWDK rebranded IMX to present a better image at their dedicated booth at the show. JWDK are also now official partners of IMX, offering branding expertise to incoming international brands.
During CIIE, Kirsten Johnston from JWDK, hosted a panel discussion during an IMX forum titled, “DON’T GET LEFT BEHIND – THE NEW ERA IMPORT DEVICES FOR GLOBAL SMEs”. She interviewed four international brands, offering the audience essential intelligence about the real opportunities of the China market today.
Highlights of the forum include the official signing ceremonies with the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC). In addition to these Chambers, IMX holds partnerships with SMCC Commissions and Chambers of Commerce. Forbes and the Shanghai Data Center also signed unique agreements that will offer the latest insights to incoming brands through work with IMX.
We are extremely proud to have brought our work to the forefront of the globally-watched CIIE. Partnering with IMX will allow us to continue our design and strategy work with cross-border brands, helping them create better brand stories that bring them closer to the Chinese consumer.
